Stops are an essential part of trade risk management and must be clearly defined in your trading plan.This module looks at the different types of stops that you can use for both initial and trailing stops. The use of targets is also discussed, a tool that can be used to smooth out equity curves.
What software programs do you recommend?
To trade you will need a reliable charting package to be able to effectively analyse your charts, as well as an online broker.
Charting
For a charting package I use Beyond Charts as they are Australian and they have awesome customer support. Beyond Charts can be used for all your trading needs from Australian and International Shares, Commodities & Indices as well as FX. Trading Broker
For a trade broker I recommend and personally use Eightcap and IG Markets. They both have offices in Australia, and they also have excellent customer support..
